APDI SEMINAR

Association of Professional Detectives and Investigators, Inc. (APDI) held a seminar about Best Practices in Profiling Cheaters and Liars last May 28, 2011 at Unilab Laboratories. It was all about how to find if someone is cheating through body gestures. One of it is covering the mouth that suppresses the deceitful words, nose touch, scratching, eyes touch which avoids having to look in the eyes to one being lied to.

The seminar also shared the knowledge how to detect if the person you are dealing with is deceitful by, some, are using words like honestly, frankly, and basically. In additional, it also talks about the usage of words that give to others a detour. A detour that the interviewee should not be trusted like as I said before, I swear to God (invokes religion), and How dare you to ask me like that.  These words or lectures may sounds common but in the big sense, yes we should know about the use of it especially in investigations and the most common, interviews.
