Private Eye to DoJ: Make Polygraph SOP in Investigation

As the Vhong Navarro-Deniece Cornejo-and-Cedric Lee saga continues like a telenobela nearing its climax with the sudden appearance of a certain Roxanne Acosta Cabañero claiming to be another rape victim of the Mr. Navarro, the public was left wondering who is and is not actually telling the truth.

This could have been avoided if government investigation agencies including the Department of Justice (DoJ) had made polygraph test as part of the standard operating procedures (SOP) in their investigation.  A polygraph or a lie detector test when conducted by a competent and experienced polygraph examiner is one of the most powerful, robust and useful scientific tools in criminal investigations and personnel screening. Truth Verifier Systems, Inc. joined the 7^th National Security Management Convention of Philippine Society for Industrial Security, Inc. (PSIS) with the theme “The Changing Pace of Security” on Oct. 17 & 18, 2013 at Midas Hotel and Casino, Pasay City.

TVSI held an exhibit displaying the most advanced computerized polygraph (lie detector instrument. Administered by TVSI skilled examiners, it showed the uses of the instrument to guest and participants who visited the booth. With this presentation, the participants were fascinated and flocked into the TVSI booth. Visitors were satisfied with the live demonstration and gave knowledge on how the system operates as it is used in pre-employment screening, periodic clearance of the employees and for specific case investigation. Making it the most visited booth among when exhibitors, who were composed of Entrepreneurs and Corporate Executives, Security Directors and Managers, Private Agency Operators and Executives, Security Officers, Government administrators and those who are interested in pursuing Industrial Security and security-related activities.
