NBI Has Now The Most Advanced Lie Detector

National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) received the LX5000 Polygraph Instrument, the most advanced computerized polygraph system by Lafayette Instruments USA, from Truth Verifier Systems, Inc. (TVSI) on June 5, 2012 at its Head Office in Taft Ave., Manila.  

NBI Chief Polygraph Division Lolito L. Basilio was the one who received the instrument from TVSI Consultant Dr. Crisanto M. Nulud and TVSI Asst. Chief Polygraphist Miguel Panchito P. Dela Paz. Mr. Dela Paz also conducted a one-week training to the lie detector examiners of NBI for them to have an idea on how to operate the instrument.

Prior to the delivery as shown on the inset photo, TVSI polygraph consultant/specialist Maj. Gen. Essam Aly Gamal El-Din (ret.) introduced the system to NBI Chief Polygraph Division Lolito L. Basilio for him to get familiarized with the instrument. With them also during that time was TVSI President Conrado G. Dumlao, NBI Deputy Director for Technical Services Atty. Reynaldo O. Esmeralda, NBI Sr. Polygraph Examiner Benedicto Pinzon, and TVSI Operations Manager Raul V. Domingo.
